Muffins Modeljourney Way

I love baking once in a while. I especially enjoy doing it on weekends and always have friends come over. This time I made muffins – as healthy as I found it possible – and enjoyed them at a picnic with my good friends in Central Park.

Here’s what I did to make them more healthy. They turned out great -original and delicious!

I used:

1 box of gluten free muffin mix

2 cage free grass fed chicken eggs (missing in the picture)

6 spoons of virgin coconut oil for medium heat (suitable for baking)

1 cup of almond milk

3/4 of 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate chips for baking

And if you decide to make the recipe don’t forget to get baking cups! (I don’t know if it only happens to me but easily slips the mind when doing grocery shopping).

Mix everything. Beat the eggs slightly before putting into mixture and mix until the batter looks good (you will know when it’s good!) Then mix in the chocolate chips, put the batter in baking cups (about 3/4, I leave some space at the top) and bake on 350 (don’t forget to preheat the oven!) for about 20 min. Note: the color is gonna be quite whitish but that’s totally normal since there’s no butter or milk being used.

Eat while it’s warm and the chocolate is melted – it’s the best! Share with friends. Enjoy!!! 😉💕

My best BB cream choice for the winter

IMG_9182.JPGIMG_9197.JPG

I got this Estée Lauder Clear Difference BB cream at my favorite Century 21 department store on one of my previous shopping hauls there as I mentioned before (and got a pack of 5 delicious small size body lotions that you get there for purchases; you can choose gifts or a voucher worth money to use for the next purchase). I’ve been using the cream for couple weeks now and found that it works perfect if you are looking for less coverage than that of foundation but still want to cover little imperfections and not only even the skin tone, which it does also. I would suggest using this one for colder times of the year as I found it a little oily and heavy on hot sunny days (I gave it a try earlier when it was warmer and that’s why started using it full time only for the last two-three weeks). But it serves me great in the fall as it moistures quite well as well as allows me to use less concealer or even not at all. I must say so far the best coverage without feeling heavy.

Let me know if you tried this BB cream and what did you think of it please, or if you are using another BB cream that you are happy with and which one?

Best to all!

How To Do Everyday Sexy Wavy Model Hair

IMG_9448

Here’s my simple every day wavy hair routine. I’ve been asked quite a few times about how to do it and which products to use and decided to share it here.

First I spray John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster on the roots of towel dryed hair.

IMG_9389

Then I put Phytodefrisant botanical straightening balm by Phyto Paris from half-length of my hair down, avoiding the roots and really focusing on the ends, brushing through with fingers.

IMG_9390

I love this comb because it’s multifunctional and great for traveling. Use the side with big bristles first, and if you wish, with smaller ones afterwards to get hair sleek and separated. Get the desired parting by using pointed end (I do middle-parting or slightly off center)

IMG_9429

Dry the hair with a hairdyer. I turn my head upside down for a little bit to get the better root lift and then dry normally.

Next, twist the hair in a bun. Use a pin or elastic band to hold it together if needed.

IMG_9417

If you dryed the hair thoroughly you will only need few minutes before letting the hair down. If you prefer to have more of a wave leave the hair with some slight moisture and then wait a little longer to let it down from a bun, at least 15 min.

Brush through with another comb like this to get the soft look.

IMG_9430

Fixate your waves with a hairspray. Another little trick to add shape and sexiness is to once again turn the head upside down and spay with a hairspray all over avoiding roots. I use Mega Hairspray by Aussie in a flexible hold so it doesn’t make the hair heavy and keeps the look fresh for the rest of the day. For more fixation, use Elnett by L’Oreal which will give a better hold but still keep the look natural and give enough movement. Use texturizing paste (like Jonathan’s Dirt texturizing paste) to perfect the look by fixing the fly aways and baby hair.

And that’s the look you get!

Love pink and pastel colors trending this season. White is always a good summer color to match with anything any time of day and little gold hardware details complete the look perfectly adding enough glam to make it an outfit for an evening outing too.

Trip to Tuleste Jewelry Dream Land

Tuleste is a hip and chic jewelry New York brand. The pieces are quite funky yet still elegant reflecting true New York style which allows you to look cool in any kind of setting – be it a hipster party or an evening gown event, or just a day at the office or a weekend getaway. The pieces are often gold plated, and have beautiful rich colors, almost everything is a statement piece here.

You won’t need much of a ‘what to wear’ thought if you go for the ostrich and maribou earrings (my favorite were pink) that are quite fashionable and require a bit of a fashion gut to put on, but once you do, you realize they do look classically  beautiful and go nicely with almost any outfit.

I personally love the bangles and got myself a couple along with the beautiful silver flower ring and a rose gold necklace that will brighten up any outfit like the one Satu Greenberg, one of the founders, is wearing here, paired with bright pink gorgeous fur to complete the look. My friend had a Birthday recently and I felt like a bangle from Tuleste would be a great gift and got one for her.

Oh, plus, absolutely in love with their GETOFFME and GETONME logo products and fun litte colorful rings!

Look for Tuleste Market jewelry online and at Opening Ceremony, their website is coming along soon!
